We're all about the science.
Banana Champs applies the science of behavior to the concepts, principles, and techniques used to enhance the performance and satisfaction of athletes and coaches.
Interventions used may include goal-setting and self-monitoring, self-talk regulation, imagery rehearsal/visualization, video feedback, auditory feedback, behavioral skills training, the teaching interaction procedure, contingency management, and the development of user-friendly manuals and computer tools for athletes (BACB, 2023).
As a doctorate level behavior analyst, and lead coach at Banana Champs, Coach Amy Rae utilizes evidence-based intervention strategies based on the science of human behavior to maximize runner performance by working on skills related to mental strength, resiliency, goal setting, and empowerment.
Services can be delivered one-on-one, in groups, in person, or delivered remotely. All sessions are individualized to meet the needs of the individuals or groups.
